Manhattan Associates Introduces Independent Software Vendor Certification Program to Streamline Integration Processes
ATLANTA – February 3, 2003 – Manhattan Associates, Inc., (Nasdaq: MANH), the global leader in providing extended supply chain execution (x-SCE™) solutions, today introduced a formal Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Certification Program that will provide interface standardization to Manhattan Associates' industry-leading supply chain execution solutions and the many third-party ISVs with whom the company partners. Certification is obtained using Manhattan Associates' standard application program interfaces (APIs), including those utilizing XML, which are certified by its own interface and technical services organizations.
The program will facilitate certification of ISV interfaces to Manhattan Associates' 2003R1 release, which will be offered beginning in May. The program presents various interface development support options ranging from telephone support to a comprehensive design and interface development consulting services managed by Manhattan Associates' interface group. Selection of Certified Partners is based upon an ISV's ability to deliver industry-leading complementary solutions that provide end-users with added value and rapid ROI. In addition, selection is based on market-driven requirements, the ISV's previous experience working with Manhattan Associates and the integrity of the ISV’s interfaces. Once selected, partners will receive a notice of certification and can then note on their Web site and in their marketing collateral that they are certified Manhattan Associates partners. Certified Partners will be required to undergo annual re-certification, which works in conjunction with Manhattan Associates' synchronized product releases.

JDA and SeeBeyond are already certified through Manhattan Associates' ISV Certification Program and another six companies have given initial commitments for involvement. Early certification will provide the ISVs with additional industry exposure at Momentum, Manhattan Associates' annual partner conference taking place in Scottsdale, Arizona, in May, 2003, which is expected to attract more than 800 supply chain professionals.
