Astro WMS with voice picking creates value for Liber Distribution

As a 3PL supplier, one of Liber Distribution’s most important competitive advantages is to succeed in supply chain excellence. When needing a new WMS the company decided to implement Consafe Logistics’ solution Astro WMS with voice picking.
Liber Distribution is one of Sweden’s leading distributor of books. The company’s warehouse outside Stockholm stores 17 million books from national and international publishing companies, information material from institutions and authorities, as well as the Swedish Law Book.
As a 3PL supplier, one of Liber Distribution’s most important competitive advantage is to succeed in supply chain excellence. Late spring the company decided to implement Consafe Logistics’ solution Astro WMS with voice picking. The project was a full scope project including Astro WMS with voice picking and TraffiCom Trolleys, Tablet PCs and Truck Terminals for warehouse operations. It also included hardware for voice picking from Vocollect.
