The railing systems specialist Q-railing operates a logistics center in Emmerich on the Rhein for the national and international delivery of goods. Q-railing has decided on the warehouse management system inconsoWMS S for controlling, planning and shipping Q-rail products. inconsoWMS S was integrated in multiple steps by inconso AG, the leading consulting and software company for logistics solutions in Europe. Productive operations commenced in the final expansion stage in 2013.

inconsoWMS S, the standard product for warehouse management and control, optimally represents the warehouse areas in the Q-railing logistics center. The system offers transparency over all store-in, picking and store-out processes including the integration of planned Goods Receiving, multi-step transports and multi-order picking. In addition, the software specialist inconso took over all responsibilities concerning the software implementation – from the creation of the requirements specification to the go-live and training through to production support.

The company Q-railing is a company that operates worldwide and is a specialist for innovative, high-grade designer railing systems and glass balustrades. Q-railing supported the construction projects for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and delivered over 16,000 meters of railing systems for the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, the world's most famous soccer stadium. Q-railing products were also installed in the Arena da Amazônia, the spectacular, new stadium located in the heart of the Amazon rainforest in Manaus, Brazil.
