GIGATON connects Autostore

By connecting an Autostore system, Gigaton further extends its integration strategy for innovative logistics technologies.

Increasing article assortments and hence lack of space require innovative logistics solutions especially in the field of picking of small parts. An example for such solutions is the concept of an Autostore which uses an intelligent logic for the space-saving storage of a multitude of parts as well as automated to-bin and from-bin transfer processes.

The new connectivity thus allows an optimized process handling through the combined use of the warehouse management system LogoS and an Autostore, and by the means of additional logistics technologies like Pick by Scan or Pick by/to Light.
