Pharmaceutical logistics: Swisslog to build automated high-bay warehouse for Kühne + Nagel in Möhlin, Switzerland

Kühne + Nagel, one of the world’s leading logistics providers, has awarded Swisslog a contract for the construction of an automated high-bay pallet warehouse.

The project is for a silo-type warehouse with 25,360 double-depth pallet storage locations. This will include the installation of five Swisslog Vectura stacker cranes as well as automated roller and vertical conveyors connected to the warehouse. In addition, Swisslog’s SynQ software solution will be used for warehouse management, material flow control and visualization.
