MeetAll goes live with RedPrairie’s Warehouse Management solution

China-based retailer will leverage system to improve overall supply chain efficiency

RedPrairie Corporation, a productivity software provider, announced today that China-based supermarket chain MeetAll has gone live with RedPrairie’s Warehouse Management solution. MeetAll also plans to implement the system in a new grocery and fresh foods super distribution centre – measuring 170,000 square meters – and originally selected RedPrairie in an effort to boost overall supply chain efficiency, and enhance inventory management.

“We originally selected RedPrairie because it has a leading management practice,” says Mr. Chunhong Chen, Executive Director and Vice President of MeetAll Group. “RedPrairie’s Warehouse Management solution can support our company’s most complicated operations. From a supply chain execution point of view, it greatly improves our management efficiency, and provides a sufficient operational platform to lower inventory levels. Our previous legacy system could not support these areas’ practices and operational capacity.”

RedPrairie’s system will help MeetAll improve overall supply chain management with more precise inventory control, including both shorter receiving and picking time, and better optimized allocation. By automating these processes, MeetAll’s warehouse managers will be able to focus more on high-value activities, such as optimizing operation waves, and executing supply chain plans to elevate warehouse performance.
