Redprairie joins IBM's ISV Advantage Initiative to help SMB customers in consumer goods, retail, electronics, 3PL, industrial/wholesale, automotive and healthcare

Partners to Offer Open, e-business on Demand Solutions

RedPrairie, a leader in supply chain technology solutions that help customers achieve global logistics results, end-to-end across their supply chains, has joined IBM’s ISV Advantage Initiative, a program designed to provide independent software vendors (ISVs) with technical and marketing support to help meet the specific information technology (IT) needs of small and medium business (SMB) companies. Customers are seeking solutions that help them better integrate processes and applications internally and externally and allow them to quickly respond to changing market opportunities on demand.

RedPrairie’s RFID-enabled supply chain execution solutions provide the industry's leading warehouse management and labour capabilities, with optimisation components for real-time visibility, supplier collaboration and performance management.

  • Dispatcher-WMS: is RedPrairie’s market-leading warehouse management system that drives operational efficiency & improves customer service through real time visibility & control. It has standard ERP interfaces; is easily configured & is rapidly implemented.
  • VirtualView: enables users to master the extended supply chain with visibility of processes and assets; real time alerting and automatic resolution of exceptions.

Enabling Dispatcher-WMS and VirtualView on IBM’s WebSphere Application Server running on Linux will help RedPrairie expand into the SMB market faster and more effectively than is possible with proprietary platforms.

Simon Fahie, sales director, RedPrairie EMEA commented on the benefits of ISV Advantage and how being a part of the program will help them win SMB customers:"The ISV Advantage program gives RedPrairie the opportunity to work closely with IBM and benefit not only from their technical expertise but also to share and build on our respective successes in providing solutions tailored specifically to the needs of mid-tier customers. This is particularly true for our solutions deployed on Linux where the price / performance of the infrastructure utilised enhances the business value our solutions deliver."

"We are pleased that RedPrairie has joined ISV Advantage and is committed to IBM as a partner of choice," said Lesley Norris, director of ISV & Developer Relations, IBM EMEA."IBM recognises the value RedPrairie brings, and we are dedicated to working together to develop open solutions that best serve our medium sized business customers."

The IBM WebSphere family includes products that are designed and priced specifically for small and medium businesses -- easy to install and manage, scalable to grow with a business, rich in functionality, and based on open standards to allow integration with existing software and hardware platforms.

RedPrairie will also work closely with IBM to expand its visibility in target vertical industries through various co-marketing and sales activities.

ISV Advantage is administered by PartnerWorld for Developers, the developer resource for IBM Business Partners. It is a worldwide program designed to help software developers reach broader markets, lower their costs of doing business, and take their products to market faster.
