Quality excellence: PROLAG®World fulfils all the requirements of a modern Warehouse Management System

11.11.2015

The most recent validation by the Fraunhofer IML confirms: PROLAG®World is a modern, standard software system which, despite a high degree of standardisation, provides full flexibility thanks to extensive configuration options.

CIM’s warehouse management software, PROLAG®World, has been validated by the Fraunhofer IML for the 11th time. The basis for the validation is a detailed questionnaire covering more than 3,000 individual functional features. A WMS will only receive a validation stamp following successful validation by the Fraunhofer warehouse logistics team. This stamp is a quality seal for the WMS sector.

Among the particularly impressive aspects of PROLAG®World are the comprehensive range of functions, the versatility of the software and the high level of standardisation. For Fritz Mayr, founder and managing director of CIM, these are all essential quality criteria: »Modern logistics software is characterised by a high degree of standardisation«, explains Mayr. The higher the level of standardisation, the greater the security and reliability of the software during the go-live phase; implementation in multiple warehouses makes for high standards in terms of ergonomics and user friendliness.

»It’s important to our customers that we provide standardised software which is easy to handle and can be flexibly tailored to their processes without any programming effort«, stresses Mayr. Thanks to the numerous setting and configuration options in PROLAG®World, CIM’s customers can customise templates, interfaces, storage and retrieval strategies, key performance indicators and dashboards based on their own individual processes and requirements. According to Mayr, software personalisation without programming is a trend which is set to play an increasingly important role in the future.
