Driving innovation with »warehouse logistics«

With the slogan »Driving innovation with warehouse logistics«, this year's participants' meeting will take place on Thursday, October 25th, 2018. Within the framework of this event, participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas around the topic of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), discuss new trends and establish contacts with other participants. In recent years, this has always ensured a positive response to the event on the part of those present.

The industry meeting offers the participants of the WMS Database the opportunity to get an overview of current trends and new developments on the part of the WMS market by technical presentations and the innovation market place.

By the staging of the World Café, there will be discussion rounds in which participants will have the opportunity to meet in smaller teams and exchange individual experiences as well as expert opinions. This year, topics such as »Optimization of warehouse operations through machine learning in WMS«, »Digitization of intralogistics - Gap between industry and research« and the »The ideal implementation sequence of ERP and WMS« will be discussed.

As part of a guided tour through the »Innovation Laboratory Hybrid Services in Logistics«, participants will also gain various insights into technological innovations for a social networked industry.

The event will take place on Thursday, October 25th, 2018 from 8:30am to 5pm at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML in Dortmund.

Members of the WMS Database can register free of charge for the participants meeting. Registration is possible via letter, fax or e-mail to marketing@warehouse-logistics.com. Furthermore, there is an option to download a registration form via CMS.
