»WMS Innovation Forum 2019« again in cooperation with the Cpro conlog GmbH

Under the motto »Innovation Forum Logistics 4.0« this year, the »WMS Innovation Forum« took place once again in cooperation with the Cpro conlog GmbH. On the 21st of May 2019, the participants gathered at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML to gain insights into current developments and trends as well as innovations in logistics.

»Automation - always the right choice?« and »Control of complex warehouse systems with SAP EWM« - these were just two of a large number of presentations on this day. In addition, the participants gained insights into topics such as »SAP Extended Warehouse Management in the conflict field of Logistics 4.0«, »Preparation for successful SAP EWM Implementation - A report from the practice« and »SAP EWM. simple. mobile«.

Other presentations also showed how warehouse management is designed out of the SAP cloud in practice and how SAP GTS can be used in customs and foreign trade. Thus, the focus on this day were far-reaching parts of the SAP business suite.

In addition to the practical reports, the participants were also able to get insights into the research of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML through a presentation about the »Silicon Economy« by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Michael ten Hompel and on a tour through the institute.

"The number of visitors shows that the joint event with the Fraunhofer IML once again aroused the interest of medium-sized and large companies and convinced them of the innovations in the Fraunhofer IML and the SAP competence of the Cpro conlog GmbH in the field of intra- and extra-logistics," explained Martin Haak of the Cpro conlog GmbH during the event.
