Plastics processing with software from Cologne

IKA (Innovative Kunststoffaufbereitung GmbH & Co. KG) has opted for the GUS-OS ERP batch-oriented business software from the GUS Group. The Wolfen-based company develops, manufactures and markets additive mixtures for the PVC processing industry. The company produces innovative products that are tailored to customer requirements, and its focus is centered around sustainability and quality. These requirements also need to be fulfilled by the company's new ERP solution.

GUS-OS ERP has been developed with particular consideration to the requirements of the processing industry. The regulations of the chemical industry have been incorporated in this development from the very outset. This, combined with the software's specific focus on documenting batch traceability and verification, were reasons for deciding in favor of the software from Cologne.

GUS-OS ERP supports all key business processes and ensures they are accurately documented. This thereby guarantees seamless batch traceability over all business processes.

The new software replaces an old system that was no longer able to fulfil the modern requirements of the Wolfen-based company. In the future 30 users will operate GUS-OS ERP as well as the laboratory and report modules.
