Validation by Fraunhofer Institute

01.09.2010

Epilog's system for automated warehouse management AtlasWMS has recently received an official certificate of validation from the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics, issued at the end of May 2010.

In cooperation with the Dortmund University of Technology, Fraunhofer IML carries out research for the needs of both the university and the industry in the field of material flows, logistics processes within companies, logistics in general, traffic, and environmental protection.

Among other activities, Fraunhofer IML, which is the main reference point in both Germany and abroad, also manages the Warehouse Logistics Database. This database pools almost 100 suppliers of services and systems for warehouse logistics management from all around the world, all of whom have to fulfil strict placement criteria.

Therefore, Fraunhofer IML validation is major recognition and approval of the way we work; at the same time it proves our comparability with the very best in Europe when it comes to warehouse management systems. With this, we have become part of a community that offers its members the continual support that is necessary and enables an up-to-date flow of the most recent information and achievements of members' know-how. All of the above renders an additional assurance to our existing and potential new customers that we are developing and marketing a high-quality product.
