21.02.2011

Operative cash flow increases to more than 13.1 million Euros

According to preliminary calculations, the PSI Group increased its EBIT in 2010 by 22% to 9.5 million Euros (2009: 7.8 million Euros). The EBITDA was also increased by 22% to 13.9 million Euros (2009: 11.4 million Euros). Group sales grew by 8% to more than 158 million Euros (2009: 147 million Euros), the volume of new orders improved by 18% to 177 million Euros (2009: 150 million Euros).

In 2010, PSI has exceeded the peek of the investments into near shoring and the new, uniform technology and started the rollout in the Group’s vertical target markets. Results were also burdened by the development of new export versions and the control system for mining. About 40% more than in previous years was invested in research and development of software and processes that will make energy networks and industrial solutions much more energy- and resource-efficient. The export percentage of the new orders already passed the 50% mark in 2010.

The cash flow from operations was increased significantly to 13.1 million Euros (2009: 4.4 million Euros), liquidity at the end of the year increased to 28.9 million Euros (31 December 2009: 20.8 million Euros) despite the first-time payment of a dividend. Management board will propose to pay a slightly higher dividend. PSI investigates acquisition targets and investment opportunities in the smart grid and energy efficiency in transport.

For 2011, PSI aims for 185 million Euros in new orders, a growth to over 170 million Euros and an increase of the EBIT to13 to 15 million Euros. This target can be clearly exceeded with the commissioning of large rollout contracts.
