Fastbolt Schraubenhandels GmbH begins operations with new warehouse management system

In Europe, Fastbolt Schraubenhandels GmbH has two warehouse locations and a trade subsidiary as well as a quality assurance center in Shanghai, China. For additional efficiency improvement and quality assurance, inconso AG was commissioned with implementing a new warehouse management system at both of the warehouse locations. From now on, the warehouse in Gronau, Germany will be managed with the warehouse management system inconsoWMS S. In 2012, the location in Milton Keynes, England will follow.

Fastbolt is a range specialist in the area of industrial fasteners. Delivered mainly from Asia via container, the screws and fasteners are stored at the locations in Gronau, Germany and Milton Keynes, England. At the locations, the products are often finished, packed and labeled according to customer specifications and delivered in a very high delivery quality. Short processing times and optimal resource utilization are essential and are realized in the new warehouse management system from inconso.

With inconsoWMS S, Fastbolt Schraubenhandels GmbH has a multi-client capable and multi-lingual warehouse management system that consists of modules such as multi-order picking, multi-level transports, batch tracking, cross-docking, permanent inventory and automatic order release of logistics processes. Especially in the goods receiving, in the picking and in the area of value added services (VAS), the system ensures error-free workflows. Furthermore, an SAP interface is also used. The entire system is delivered for the platform Windows/MSSQL Server. Along with services for the Milton Keynes location, Fastbolt has also ordered radio frequency (RF) terminals and printers with the corresponding services from inconso AG.
