Moulins Bourgeois will automate their distribution center with viastore systems

It is the story of a French mid-size company which invests and exports. A story in which the image of a traditional French product, the ‘baguette’, joins that of intralogistic innovation, in a spirit of quality, seriousness and demanding standards.

Moulins Bourgeois, a family-owned company specialized in the production of traditional wheat and bio wheat, created in 1895 and located in Verdelot near Paris, will implement a futuristic DC to ship its 170 tons of wheat per day to stores in the northern part of France as well as everywhere in Europe (Germany, Belgium, Spain, Greece, the United Kingdom, Russia, Sweden…) and in Asia (China).

“Extreme compactness, state-of-the-art ergonomics, very short life cycles, electrical consumption measured and controlled by the WMS, all the demands of the present demanding logistic projects are gathered in this concept where unit picking is 100% automated from the end of manufacturing to the sequenced arrival of the products in the trucks” explains Julien Couret, Sales and Engineering Director of viastore systems France.

The DC will be managed by viad@t, the viastore systems WMS package. The full automation of the logistics DC (palletizing, storage, order picking and shipping) will be implemented by viastore systems and its partner AB Process.
