14.05.2014

The LFS warehouse management system from Ehrhardt + Partner qualified for the IBM »Ready-for-Pure« status for the new IBM PureFlex system at the beginning of 2014.

For users of the IBM Pure system, this means easy integration of the warehouse management system into a standardized system environment and significant advantages for cloud operation. LFS is one of the first warehouse management systems in the world to gain this status which is presented as a WMS solution in the PureSystems Center.

IBM PureFlex belongs to the IT group's PureSystems system family. The infrastructure is an integrated IT environment. It combines the server, storage, network components, virtualization and management functions in a central structure. A high level of flexibility in the application, more power and a diverse selection of functions are only a few of the benefits offered by PureFlex. With its status as an IBM partner software, starting immediately, LFS can be easily integrated into the Pure system environment and new LFS instances can be easily connected.

The functions of the warehouse management system extend far beyond simple warehouse management: The software actively manages all warehouse processes, both intralogistic and extralogistic, and intelligently coordinates them. This includes personnel deployment planning and warehouse technology control. In conjunction with the »Ready-for-Pure« status for the IBM PureFlex system, all system requirements can be adjusted and free capacities can be determined and efficiently utilized.
