Expanded product portfolio

03.02.2016

CIM GmbH, designers of warehouse management software from Fürstenfeldbruck near Munich, will be exhibiting again at this year’s LogiMAT in Stuttgart from March 8 to March 12, 2016. The focus will be on their newest WMS products including their brand new shipping system, PROSEND®. As always, trade fair visitors will have the chance to work live with the software at CIM’s stand: they’ll be able to pick articles and view the resulting inventory updates and other KPIs in real time on the dashboard.

Being innovative – shaping change

True to this year’s LogiMAT motto, Being innovative – shaping change, CIM invites visitors to try out their Warehouse Management System, PROLAG®World, for themselves: at stand 7C38 in hall 7, visitors will be able to pick different articles using barcode scanners or smartphones, and view the resulting inventory updates and other KPIs on the integrated dashboard in real time.

New features in the WMS and the shipping system

Visitors will also have the opportunity to find out more about CIM’s modular, internet-compatible software products: their Warehouse Management System, PROLAG®World, and their new shipping software called PROSEND®. The five WMS premium solutions – PROLAG®World Basic, PROLAG®World Trade & Retail, PROLAG®World Production, PROLAG®World Health Care and PROLAG®World 3PL – are perfectly tailored to the special logistics requirements of retailers, manufacturers, service providers and the healthcare sector.

New additions to CIM’s product portfolio include the PROLAG®World compact standard products Basic XS, PROLAG®World Forwarding and PROLAG®World Cloud – perfect solutions for getting started.

The software can be expanded later as required with industry packages and individual modules such as the forklift routing system, batch administration or expiry date management.

Transparent logistics

As part of the accompanying programme, logistics consultant Robert Slusarz from CIM will host a forum entitled »Transparent Logistics – Optimal Integration of Humans, IT and Mobile Devices«. The talk (in German only) will take place at 2:00pm on Wednesday 9 February, 2016, in forum D, hall 7, and will focus on how to design a meaningful model for cooperation between logistics employees and the available IT resources. Mr. Slusarz will also demonstrate the potential of modern, mobile hardware, and outline the prerequisites on the path towards optimal logistics using state-of-the-art technology.
