viastore realizes production supply warehouse

Wassermann Dental-Maschinen GmbH, one of the world‘s foremost manufacturers of high-quality dental laboratory equipment, is expanding its Hamburg location and has selected viastore to realize a central production supply warehouse and integrate this system into its existing operations. Sven Hammann, Managing Director and owner of MyLeanFactory GmbH, has been entrusted with logistics planning.

The viastore system solution is an automated pallet warehouse designed to accommodate up to 196 Euro pallets that will be transported by a viapal automated storage/retrieval system. An inbound and outbound conveyor line including a load unit control system, as well as a high-speed door will ensure accelerated and reliable warehouse processes. Inventory location control will be performed using viadat – a modern, powerful and future-proof warehouse management system from viastore SOFTWARE. “This solution will allow us to significantly improve the performance and availability of our warehouse. In addition, we will also benefit from more transparent processes,“ says Managing Director Wilfried Wassermann.
