The participants meeting 2017 comes closer


This year's participants meeting of »warehouse logistics« will take place true to the motto »warehouse logistics – creating visions«. On October 19th 2017, the participants of one of the leading portals for Warehouse Management Systems will meet for the 17th time in a row at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML in Dortmund.

This year again, the industry meeting of the Warehouse Logistics Community offers a varied and interesting programme. Thorsten Hülsmann with his Keynote Speech is the starting point of the event. Afterwards the Team warehouse logistics presents a comprehensive overview of the actions of the past year and paving the way for further programme points of the event. So once again, this year, the participants will have the opportunity to discuss and develop new ideas in a World Café. By restructuring the format, the attendees will have the opportunity to discuss actively on all topics and to shape visions of the future. »Chatbots in WMS« or »Fields of Application of Virtual Reality in a WMS Context« are just two examples of topics on the agenda of the World Café.

In addition, the attendees will learn essential information on current research areas of Fraunhofer IML at the Innovation Exchange. This year, the Team warehouse logistics also has come up with a special programme point: a demonstration of exhibits and live demos. This enables the present guests to try out the latest innovations for themselves and to get in direct contact with the researchers and developers.

The participants meeting takes place on Thursday, 19 th October 2017 from 09:00am to 4:30pm at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML in Dortmund.
