MANGO chooses supply chain execution software from inconso

12.05.2015

MANGO has contracted inconso to deliver its warehouse management system "inconsoWMS" for a new distribution centre in Lliçà d’Amunt, Spain, and a supply chain execution system to plan processing orders and manage the inventory of its network.

MANGO is a leading international company dedicated to the design, manufacture and sale of apparel and accessories for women and men. MANGO employs more than 16,000 people, has over 2700 stores and is present in 109 countries worldwide.

In the course of 2013, MANGO completed a tender process for a new warehouse management system for a new distribution centre in Lliçà d’Amunt, Spain, and a supply chain execution system to plan processing orders and manage the inventory of its network (the new distribution centre and seven existing DCs).

The new distribution centre is planned to automatically manage the receiving, storage, picking, and shipping of boxes and hanging garments. Over 38,000 different SKUs will be managed and more than 4,000 customers (including MANGO shops and other customers) served daily with an estimated processing of 350,000 order lines.

MANGO has contracted inconso to deliver its warehouse management system (inconsoWMS) for the Lliçà d’Amunt distribution centre along with inconsoRMS for resource management, inconsoSCE for supply chain execution, inconsoYMS for yard planning and management and lastly, inconsoSDS for carrier management.

The order planning process of inconsoSCE will be carried out by a graphically configurable workflow engine, which is a component of the inconso Logistics Suite, and enables MANGO to define and modify distribution rules according to their business changes.

Inventory management includes global stock visibility as well as the planning and management of the stock levels in the different distribution centres (inbound stock and stock transfers).

inconsoSCE also provides a tool allowing for configuration, order forecasting and load balancing simulations.

The project kicked off in February this year. The go-live phase will start in 2015 and end in 2016.
