Fox Racing Cuts Labor Costs by 14 Percent with HighJump Software and Fortna

The HighJump Warehouse Management System and Fortna’s Project Management Drive Additional Efficiencies in Value Added Services Processing and Cycle Counting

HighJump Software and Fortna Inc. today announced that Fox Racing has seen impressive cost savings and productivity gains after implementing the HighJump warehouse management system. Fox Racing designs, develops, markets, sells and distributes products for the motorcross and lifestyle apparel markets from its headquarters and distribution center in Morgan Hill, Calif. Fortna led project management, testing, training, integration and technical support during the implementation of the system.

Since implementation, Fox Racing has dramatically cut labor costs while growing sales revenues and processing record volumes. Fox Racing decreased picking labor by nearly 50 percent and reduced the number of packing stations by 75 percent. The company has also streamlined its value-added services (VAS) processes, cutting time to process orders by 80 percent. In addition, the company reduced cycle counting time by 90 percent.

Fox Racing selected the HighJump warehouse management system because its adaptability tools allow the company to quickly and easily make changes to their business processes, such as adding new wholesale customers to keep up with increased business demand. In addition to reducing costs and increasing customer service, Fox Racing selected the HighJump WMS to improve inventory accuracy, increase its ability to process large VAS orders, and eliminate inefficiencies.
