High attendance at the NEF Dagene

“Taking part in the NEF Dagene was a positive experience for us,” explains Sales Manager for Mobile Solutions, Inge K. Hårsaker of Consafe Logistics.

NEF-Dagene is Norway’s most important meeting place for suppliers, manufacturers and other organisations involved in the food, packaging and processing industries. With almost 30,000 visitors, the fair could report a new record compared with previous years. "For us, the exhibitors are just as interesting as the visitors," confirms Hårsaker. He also informs us that Consafe Logistics’ warehouse systems and hardware products (scanners, handheld terminals and printers) were well represented at the fair.

Strengthened competitive edge

"Visitors to the fair wanted to know what kind of tools they should use to gain control of operations. If you want to survive this financial crisis, perhaps even emerge from it stronger, you have to improve on efficiency and cut costs in order to achieve full control. Without such measures, companies risk losing market share," explains Hårsaker. He believes that Consafe Logistics’ mobile solutions help strengthen competitive edge. "It is possible to increase productivity and profitability if you are able to utilise your resources to the full, reduce administrative costs and eliminate paper work for operations. Using mobile units, people can carry out their functions regardless of where they are and where they need to capture data." The Mobile Solutions comprise FieldService, MobileSale, ControlTransport and DataManager.
