Thuasne modernizes its logistics center

The European supplier of wearable medical devices tasks inconso with the implementation of the warehouse management system inconsoWMS X.

After investing much into the expansion of their logistics network, Thuasne, a French manufacturer of medical textiles, takes further steps toward system-supported warehouse and process optimization. For the logistics center in Saint-Etienne, France, the logistics software specialist inconso started the implementation of its warehouse management system inconsoWMS X and its shipping system inconsoSDS (Shipping & Dispatch System). An inconso project team from Lyon is heading the project.

The logistics center spans about 10,000 sqm. Extensions to the existing automated picking system are planned for a second project phase. From Saint-Etienne, Thuasne manages 5,000 orders per day with 3.8 million order lines per year. The integration of a Pick-by-Voice system is also planned.
