TGW: Building a world-class logistics center for Puma

Puma, one of the world's leading sports brands, has commissioned intralogistics specialist TGW with building a highly automated distribution center. In the Bavarian community of Geiselwind, this spectacular intralogistics system will be completed by spring of 2021. At a three-digit million volume, this is one of the largest orders in TGW's company history. The official go-ahead for the large-scale project was given at the ground-breaking ceremony on 18 February 2019.

The Frische- und Gefrierzentrum Rheine GmbH started operations on the premises of the subsidiary of the Dutch NewCold Group in 2014. The new freshness and freezing centre with a 120-ton high-performance freezer system is available for the interim storage and shock freezing of poultry and meat products. The company's range of services includes storage, order picking and packaging as well as the nationwide distribution of frozen products and ice cream.

Ce site de pointe sera mis en exploitation au printemps 2021 dans la commune bavaroise de Geiselwind. De par son montant, il s'agit de l'une des commandes les plus importantes de l'histoire de TGW. Le coup d'envoi officiel de ce mégaprojet a été donné lors de la pose de la première pierre du bâtiment le 18 février 2019.
