Project Description The SuPCIS-L8 installation at ETRA Oy is characterised primarily by logistical processes that address the wide range of industrial products and services. The height and weight control (predefined maximum weight of 50kg / 110lbs) ensure that no material or packaging material protrudes from the containers. In the event of an error, the totes are returned directly to the operator with an indication of the error.
To make the processes in the warehouse for the employees even easier, a pick-to-light
system was also integrated, which was mounted at the picking workstations. The display mounted above the container shows where which quantity has to be placed.
For small items that would have to be counted in large quantities, counting scales fully integrated in the SuPCIS-L8 dialogue are used. Time-consuming counting is no longer necessary and, thanks to the integrated dialogue guidance in the WMS, the scales do not have to be operated additionally.
Through the seamless interaction of the WMS and MFC with the system controls of GEBHARDT Fördertechnik GmbH, Etra benefits from a customised and efficient material flow.
