Aldata G.O.L.D. validated for IBM Retail Integration Framework
09.01.2009
Aldata Solution, a leading provider of software solutions for the retail and wholesale industries, today announced it has successfully completed validation of the Aldata G.O.L.D. retail suite for the IBM Retail Integration Framework.
The IBM Retail Integration Framework leverages open standards including Association for Retail Technology Standards (ARTS), Open Application Group Integration (OAGIS) and Global Standards (GS1) to unlock communications between services, information sources, and business processes, making the store and the retail enterprise one seamless landscape rather than disconnected islands.
The IBM Retail Integration Framework initiative brings together platform-independent software vendors that deliver proven solutions designed and built for the retail industry. Through this initiative, IBM works with select IBM Business Partners to validate solutions that meet a rigorous assessment of next-generation, open-standards-based store environments.
“Aldata and IBM share more than 150 customers worldwide, so collaborating to integrate Aldata G.O.L.D. with their existing enterprise systems enables our joint customers to get up and running quickly and maximize their existing technology investments,” said Allan Davies, CMO, Aldata. “Aldata validation on the IBM Retail Integration Framework also means that, moving forward, new Aldata-IBM customers can anticipate a speedy, cost-effective G.O.L.D. implementation.”
Aldata supplies the world’s leading retailers and wholesalers with the systems that manage the core of their business, enabling visibility and optimization of their entire supply chain from supplier to customer. Aldata G.O.L.D. provides a unified retail architecture with multiple modules that can be implemented in rapid ROI stages in order to address a company’s greatest business constraints. Applications include: master data management, forecasting and replenishment, logistics and distribution, store and merchandising, supplier and order management, plus loyalty and marketing systems.
