Four Soft gets listed on IBM SOA Business Catalog
23.12.2008
Four Soft announced today that it has been listed on the IBM Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Business Catalog, after successfully completing IBM’s rigorous SOA technical validation process.
The IBM SOA Business Catalog is a comprehensive online directory of reusable SOA content that has been validated to perform with IBM SOA Foundation products.
Adhering to IBM’s technical and business framework, Four Soft software products - 4S eLog (warehouse management) and 4S eTrans (freight and transportation management) were integrated successfully. This has been accomplished by using BPEL and business integration tools such as IBM WebSphere Integration Developer and WebSphere Process Server.
The IBM SOA Business Catalog is a single, comprehensive online directory of reusable SOA content from IBM and IBM SOA Business Partners. It has three levels: Connect, Exploit and Extend and Four Soft has been qualified and certified for the Exploit criteria. Four Soft customers will benefit hugely by this achievement, in terms of:
- Interoperability between 4S products [4S eTrans, 4S eCustoms, 4S ePOMS, 4S eLog] without developing new solutions
- Enterprise services in 4S products to facilitate effective integration with third-party applications
- A comprehensive framework to seamlessly integrate their business applications in a dynamically changing business environment
- Reuse legacy assets and protect investments
"We are delighted of acceptance of Four Soft into IBM SOA Business Partner list. This recognition extends the proven capabilities of our products to IBM infrastructure and facilitates the easier integration of the solution to other partners and customers," said Mr. Mahaboob Hussain, VP -Technology and Process, Four Soft.
Four Soft's software applications are built on J2EE platform, web-centric, component-based products that delivers powerful business solutions for supply chain management players. 4S applications are easy to deploy and can be integrated with existing legacy applications in an organization.
