Fashion department store Veljekset Halonen Oy and department store Oy Carlson select Aldata for its loyalty scheme

Retail software specialist, Aldata, has been selected to supply its Digital Marketing and Loyalty solution to Oy Carlson, the largest department store in the Finnish Lakeland, and its parent company Veljekset Halonen Oy. The solution will help the retailers improve their marketing focus, through better analysis of their customer loyalty data. For the consumer, the new loyalty program means even better service, targeted campaigns and greater rewards based on specific purchases.

Aldata Digital Loyalty is a CRM and digital marketing solution specifically developed for retail businesses. It enables effective management of retail, hospitality or shopping centre loyalty systems, customer data as well as campaign design and realisation. Aldata Digital Loyalty is a comprehensive software as a service solution that supports the management of customer relations and marketing communications programmes, as well as providing detailed post-campaign analysis.

Sari Helenius, Administrative Director, Halonen, said; “Our existing solution doesn’t have the capability that we require to support our growing business. A significant advantage with Aldata Digital Loyalty is the ability for customers to use Halonen’s Loyalty card in the Carlson department store and vice versa. The new solution model also includes a cashcard and a MasterCard. MasterCard is provided by Handelsbanken Rahoitus Oyj. As a new cooperation partner, Handelsbanken also provides Halonen’s and Carlson’s loyal customers financing services and more versatile benefits, such as insurance cover.”

The project is due to go-live in March 2010.
