Dollar General selects Aldata for its Next Generation Retail Supply Chain Solution
Aldata Solution, a global leader in retail and distribution improvement software, announced today that Dollar General, a leading U.S. retailer, has selected Aldata for its next generation integrated supply chain solution.
With sales of $12.7 billion over the last twelve months ending October, 2010 and over 9,200 stores in 35 states, Dollar General is the nation’s largest small box discount retailer. This agreement will enable Dollar General to utilize Aldata Master Data Management and Synchronized Store and Warehouse Demand Based Replenishment to improve supply chain efficiency across their business, providing total inventory visibility across nine distribution centers and its store base with optimization of inventory levels from supplier through to the store shelf.
