SOLVO to Showcase Optimum Retail Warehouse Management Technology at MMLF-2015

As a perennial tradition, SOLVO will take part at the Moscow International Logistics Forum (MMLF-2015), which will run from February 9 -13, 2015 in Moscow at the Aerostar business hotel.

As a perennial tradition, SOLVO will take part at the Moscow International Logistics Forum (MMLF-2015), which will run from February 9 -13, 2015 in Moscow at the Aerostar business hotel.

Along with 40 other panelists, SOLVO will share its experience in optimizing logistics processes across various industries with the application of innovative technologies and management solutions to SCM within the context of the forum conference titled »Logistics and Supply Chain Management.«

On February 12, 2015 at the meeting titled »IT solutions for logistics process management«, Vladimir Nikitin, head of sales at SOLVO, will discuss the optimal technologies for managing retail warehouses, which have an ever changing structure in terms of assortment, suppliers, and other factors. Examples will include successful implementation at the retail chain »Polushka,« the clothes and shoes chain »Lady & Gentlemen City,« »CenterObuv,« and more.

The following Solvo.WMS system technologies are applied across the warehouses of these companies: lot accountaing and traceability; dynamic putaway taking into account the velocity and oversized load; inventory without work stoppage; graphic topology editor; picking technology: Multi-order-picking, Wave assembly (Put-to-store), dynamic channels; conveyor integration; Voice-picking, and more.

The forum, which is going into its 18th year, has become an annual tradition for most professionals from retail, production and logistics companies to start the year with the Forum, where participants discuss results of the previous year along with business and development plans for the short and mid-terms, and the best practices for managing logistics companies across various industries.
