TOC Europe Recap: Digitization & Automation in the Spotlight

SOLVO is happy to report that this year’s TOC Container Supply Chain: Europe exhibition and conference held from June 27 the the 29th in Amsterdam, was a resounding success.

SOLVO Ltd., a leading global provider of TOS and WMS solutions, alongside its trusted Dutch partner Solvo Europe B.V., Visy and others were showcasing their logistics process automation solutions to visitors atstand No. A72.

Attendees got a chance to check out the latest offerings from SOLVO and its partners such as the flagship Solvo.WMS & Solvo.TOS systems. Visitors were able to get a sneak peak of the Solvo.TOS 6.0 concept following the successful merger of Solvo.TOS Container and Solvo.TOS General Cargo to form a unified platform for all cargo types.

At the stand, attendees were able to see severalnew features in action including an all-new WEB interface, new built-in equipment optimization module, block-train management, berth planning, KPI dashboards, resource planning, VGM compliance, and much more.

SOLVO’s stand was also visited by its general director Elena Grebenschikova and served as a meeting place with several key clients such as BKP (part of CMA-CGM).

TOC Europe is the most important global conference event for the port and container business. This year, the event gathered over 3,000 people with representativesfrom over 75 countries.

One of the biggest themes of the conference revolved around boosting productivity through process automation, digitization as well as better planning methods using simulation and emulation programs. Of course, greener and eco-friendly operations, decarbonization and cleaner technologies remained en vogue alongside multiple presentations on the bulk industry, bulk terminal planning as well as increasing workplace safety.

Overall, the most important logistics themed event of the year was a great success for SOLVO and its partners. SOLVO would like to thank everyone who attended the conference and is looking to an even bigger event next year!
