The SOLVO team won the competition for the Russian national award »Logistics of the Year - 2020« title by the International Logistics Academy. For the second year in a row, our company confirms the title of "The best supplier of IT solutions for logistics" - for its contribution to the development of the industry.

The «Logistics of the Year» project is a non-profit platform that supports Russian logistics industry. The project objectives are mobilization of resources, support in the development and competitiveness of business in the context of changes in the global economy. Also, the project team tries to objectively show real information about the current state of the Russian logistics market and its participants.

The award nominations reflect the state of the Russian logistics services market, which unites companies to develop the market and effectively interact in the supply chain.

»2020 was not an easy year, with a lot of various pandemic restrictions. But this year has also become an opportunity for logistics operators to build up their customer service competencies. Our companies have been actively working to improve optimization of stock levels, speed and quality of delivery, and joint cost management. And, of course, digitalization helped a lot to develop these areas. Today we do not treat everything new with such apprehension as before. The world is changing very quickly. Digitization and process optimization are tightly embedded in our lives. The logistics industry is today recognized as one of the drivers of digitalization, and the transition to platform solutions is becoming the main trend in all its segments «, said Yulia Tityukhina, General Director of the International Academy of Logistics, at the awards ceremony held on July, 20, in Moscow.

It's true that 2020 forced the logistics community to adjust to a new reality with the Covid-19 pandemic and a lot of restrictions. While logistics companies were accelerating the pace of digitalization over the past year, IT companies were developing new mechanisms for working with customers. For example, the SOLVO team improved customer support mechanisms. The company's specialists remotely automated the all-new distribution center of Schiever Tadjikistan (the French retailer Schiever Group a logistics operator of Auchan retail chain). SOLVO continued to develop international projects, including the implementation of the Solvo.TOS system at the terminals of Sogester in Angola and a joint project with the DBA Group to create a single digital space for the ports in the Caspian region, which was successfully implemented in 2021.

SOLVO experts took part in the development of the Russian state standard for WMS. The Solvo.WMS system was successfully validated by Fraunhofer, and the company itself was recognized as the “Exporter of the Year 2020” by the business community of St. Petersburg. And that's not all.

SOLVO also increased its economic results in 2020, continued to expand its staff and was recertified by ISO 9001: 2015 standard. These and many other criteria were considered by the award expert commission Logistics of the Year.

Maria Skrivitskaya, Marketing Specialist, introduced the SOLVO team at the award ceremony. She made a speech on behalf of all employees and the general director of SOLVO Elena Grebenshchikova:
