GUS Group "Pushes its business"

02.03.2010

Two new agreements signed at CeBIT

The GUS Group has crowned this year's CeBIT appearance with the signing of two contracts for more than 240 software licenses for GUS-OS ERP. The Katlenburger wine cellar Dr. Demuth GmbH & Co. KG and a company in the chemical industry used the occasion of the trade fair in Hannover to seal their partnership with the GUS Group. Katlenburger is Europe's largest fruit wine cellar and a specialist in the production of fruit and honey wines, wine coolers, cocktails, etc.

The offering of new business intelligence functionalities and a completely reworked interface in the current Release 5.0 of the workflow-controlled enterprise software enticed interested visitors to the GUS Group's trade fair booth. During the entire trade show, there were expert lectures about special industry and BI highlights of the GUS-OS product family.

The new look and the new functionalities in the areas of finance and business intelligence were equally well-received by all visitors. With respect to the still-critical general finance situation, the development of the BI modules was driven forward vigorously. The reaction at the trade fair shows that this topic is also a focus of intense interest among customers and potential customers.

Aside from the new agreements signed at CeBIT, since the beginning of the year other companies have also selected GUS-OS ERP. These include Eisbär Eis GmbH, which with the signing of its agreement renewed a long-standing partnership with the GUS Group and thus confirms its trust in the company and its software.

"The start of this year underscores the idea that the investment bottleneck in our market is actually resolving itself. This way, we can look at the current year positively," according to Axel Feldhoff, Managing Director of Marketing and Sales at GUS Deutschland GmbH.
