Company description

The Klinkhammer Group is a successful, dynamically growing company in the field of intralogistics and warehouse management software. For more almost 50 years, Klinkhammer has been one of the leading intralogistics providers with international focus. The scope of services and supply ranges from shuttle systems for automated high-bay warehouses to the complete logistics centers, providing - besides hardware and mechanical engineering - also the appropriate software for control, material flow and warehouse management. Renowned customers such as Adidas, Continental, Daimler, Linde, Osram, Playmobil, Siemens, Still, Simba-Dickie and Trolli trust in Klinkhammer - from analysis, planning and software development right through to the turnkey handover of intralogistics solutions, including »all-round support« package thanks to the Service24 concept.

History

From mechanical engineer to software specialist

1972 - Adolf Klinkhammer founded the company A. Klinkhammer as nonincorporated firm, working in the basement of his family house. With dedication, he continuously expanded his range of services and customer bases.

1977 - Besides the logistics planning services he created a further pillar of his business by manufacturing and assembling conveyors and components.

1991 - After moving premises several times to ever-larger assembly halls and offices, he decided to build a new production facility at the Wiesbadener Straße in Nuremberg which is the company’s present site.

1996 - A modern administration building was added which is still the headquarters of the Klinkhammer Group.

1998 - The founder’s two sons, Detlef and Frank Klinkhammer, joined the company. The scope of services was expanded by the fields of activity »automation technology« and »warehouse management Software«. The way from a specialist company for conveyor systems and material flow logistics to a general contractor in the field of intralogistics was continuously refined and improved.

2013 - a software company within the Klinkhammer Group was founded, the AK warehouse solutions GmbH, focusing on the further development of the Warehouse Management Software KlinkWARE®.

2016 - Klinkhammer develops the Multilevel-Shuttle-System KlinCAT®, sponsored by the Bavarian State Ministry. This warehouse vehicle is a high-performance hybrid system in lightweight design that combines an automatic storage/retrieval crane and a shuttle system.

2016- A branch was opened in Turkey.

2017- New visualization software KlinkVISION®with innovative Maintenance-Tool for a rapid alarm diagnostics in the warehouse, minimizing downtimes.

2018- Klinkhammer Intralogistics Sp. zo. o. was founded in Poland by Klinkhammer Intralogistics GmbH.

Today, the Klinkhammer Group offers everything from one source and is one of the leading intralogistics providers - with many long-time customers from all sectors of industry throughout Europe.
