EKT Warehouse Automation Project Completed by SOLVO

SOLVO completed a project for EKT – European Fixture Technologies, the largest Belarusian distributor of construction-industry merchandise.

EKT (www.ekt.by) offers a wide variety of products amounting to over ten thousand items. The company has a well developed sales network and an extensive customer base including retail shops, construction organizations, manufacturing companies, factories, purchasing and supply companies, etc. throughout Byelorussia.

Some time ago EKT undertook a program to expand its business by enhancing the variety of its merchandise and by automating the company's main business processes including the warehousing ones.

Solvo.WMS was chosen among other WMS solutions due to its advantages, such as its flexible and configurable architecture that can be easily tailored to suit customers' specific requirements. The critical factor that finally urged EKT to make the decision was the fact that SOLVO had an impressive portfolio of successfully implemented and operating projects based on Solvo.WMS. As a result, in February 2012, SOLVO carried out the warehouse automation project for EKT and completed it on time according to the contract.
