Fraunhofer validation confirms: PROLAG®World is at the forefront of new trends

CIM GmbH’s warehouse management software fulfils all the criteria required of a modern standard software solution.

Validation by the Fraunhofer IML confirms: PROLAG®World is a state-of-the-art standard software solution which, despite a high level of standardisation, offers full flexibility thanks to extensive configuration options.

CIM’s warehouse management software PROLAG®World was validated by the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics for the tenth time this July. As well as the high degree of flexibility and extensive functionality it provides, the software is top of the league when it comes to modernity and future bias.

“Modern logistics software is characterised by a high level of standardisation”, explains Fritz Mayr, managing director of CIM. The higher the level of standardisation, the securer the software is during the start-up phase; deployment in a large number of warehouses facilitates the highest standards of ergonomics and user-friendliness.

“Today’s customers are placing more value than ever before on standardised software that is easy to operate and can be flexibly tailored to processes without any additional programming. There is a clear trend towards individualisation through configuration or parameterisation without programming effort”, continues Mayr.

The high level of standardisation in PROLAG®World supports the flexibility of the software: Numerous setting and configuration options allow users to tailor storage management, templates, interfaces, storage and retrieval strategies, key indicators and dashboards according to their requirements and based on which processes they use.
