The new validation round starts with the updated questionnaire version 2023

The annual validation of the logistics IT systems listed on warehouse-logistics.com ensures the high quality of the information stored in the »logistics IT database«.

This enables the »Team warehouse logistics« of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML) to provide logistics IT customers with a precise system selection according to individual criteria and detailed system comparisons based on continuously validated manufacturer specifications.

In 2023, the »Team warehouse logistics« has again revised the validation questionnaire, taking into account current market developments and trends. In this way, the »logistics IT database« remains up to date in its function as a logistics platform for logistics IT providers and logistics IT customers.

The annual validation of the logistics IT systems is based on answering an extensive questionnaire (e.g. for WMS approx. 3,800 aspects), more than 420 of these aspects were revised for the new version 2023. For this year's validation round, the focus was placed on the holistic view of the questionnaire. In order to follow the current developments on the market, we have in particular further developed the aspects relating to your cloud solutions and revised the areas of developments and trends. To optimise the »Logistics IT Online Selection«, we have implemented some changes in the area of the K.O. questions in consultation with our advisory board. Your suggestions from the previous validation round were also taken into account in the form of new or revised aspects. Overall, the scope of the questionnaire in version 2023 was slightly increased compared to the previous year's version.

The warehouse-logistics.com platform is one of the leading portals for logistics IT systems worldwide and offers customers access to all important information for sustainable planning and the correct use of their information technologies in and around the warehouse. Thus, in addition to »Warehouse Management Systems«, »Transport Management Systems« (TMS), »Resource Planning Systems« (RPS), »Stacker Control Systems« (SLS) as well as »Business Intelligence« (BI) systems can be listed and validated by the manufacturer-independent »Team warehouse logistics« of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML. Similarly, information on around 140 validated »WMS reference projects« is available to interested visitors on the platform.
