IKEA has decided to build a new distribution center in Montreal and commissioned SSI Schaefer with the implementation. Core elements of the project are an automatic shuttle warehouse designed according to the 3D-MATRIX Solution® concept, a high-bay warehouse (HBW) with 245,000 pallet storage locations, ergonomic multi-order-picking work stations, and the logistics software WAMAS®.

The NORDfrische Center in Valluhn (Germany) is the meat production facility of EDEKA Handelsgesellschaft Nord GmbH. Around 1,500 different articles are produced at the centre, which delivers to just short of 700 EDEKA and Marktkauf stores in northern Germany. EDEKA chose to work with KNAPP on an expansion of the distribution area. The new logistics centre is due to start operation at the beginning of 2020.

The central warehouse in Kirchdorf, Germany will be equipped with the new OSR Shuttle Evo by KNAPP.
