The Board of Directors of Aldata has decided to appoint Mr. Bertrand Sciard as the President and CEO of Aldata Solution Oyj.
The Board of Directors of Aldata has decided to appoint Mr. Bertrand Sciard as the President and CEO of Aldata Solution Oyj. Mr. Sciard has been Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company since April 2007. Previously, Bertrand Sciard was for two years the President and CEO of Intentia, an enterprise software vendor headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. During this assignment he managed the turn-around of the company and multiplied the market capitalization by four.
Mr. René Homeyer, President and CEO of Aldata since July 2005, will be appointed as COO, reporting to Mr. Sciard. Mr. Peter Titz, Chairman of the Board, comments: "After a period where Aldata has been going through a tender offer process and there has been a lot of speculation about the future of the Company, it is very important for us that Bertrand takes over the leadership. He has in his previous positions showed that he can bring stability and confidence both within and outside the organization. To have René to support him in this, will bring continuity to the Company and its strategy."
Mr. Bill Chisholm, Managing Director of Symphony Technologies and Member of the Board of Directors of Aldata comments: "We are very pleased to see Bertrand taking over the management of Aldata.
