Consafe Logistics appoints new Chairman

Consafe Logistics, Scandinavia’s largest mobile logistics solutions company, will have a new Chairman of the Board after the new year.

J Christer Ericsson is handing over to Håkan Larsson who is leaving his post as CEO for Transatlantic Shipping AB.

Håkan Larsson has long experience within the logistics sector. Among his other appointments he spent several years as CEO for Schenker AG, based in Germany. ”I am really pleased that Håkan will strengthen our interesting company. The company has enjoyed very strong growth since we entered this industry three years ago – both through organic growth and through acquisitions. With around 400 co-workers and sales of around 70 million Euros, we will soon be the lead company in Northern Europe in this exciting industry. We have a really great potential for development in these times of environmental awareness and increased transport costs”, says Christer Ericsson.

”Companies make large savings within logistics by using efficient Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) which Consafe Logistics represents. There is a lot happening in this area and it is important that companies use the latest IT technology. It will be very interesting to take over as a chairman”, says Håkan Larsson.
