A successful anniversary - CIM GmbH attend the LogiMAT for the 10th time in succession

13.03.2014

CIM GmbH, leading supplier of warehouse management software from Fürstenfeldbruck near Munich, celebrated their tenth year in succession at LogiMAT this year. The focus at CIM’s exhibition booth was on their five main software products: PROLAG®World Basic, PROLAG®World Trade & Retail, PROLAG®World Production, PROLAG®World HealthCare and PROLAG®World 3PL.

2014 marked CIM’s tenth visit in succession to the LogiMAT in Stuttgart. To celebrate the occasion, all visitors to the booth were presented with a small anniversary cake in a gift box. “This year’s LogiMAT was a great success for us. We had a record number of visitors at our booth: Not only did a lot of our regular customers attend: there was a great deal of interest among other logistics specialists who were finding out about CIM for the first time”, explains Veronika Hillreiner, CIM’s trade fair coordinator.

Standard software and online configurator

Visitors to the trade fair had the opportunity to catch up with the latest developments to CIM’s standard warehouse management software. The five software products PROLAG®World Basic, PROLAG®World Trade & Retail, PROLAG®World Production, PROLAG®World HealthCare and PROLAG®World 3PL were extremely well received. Each product is tailored to the specific logistics requirements of retailers, manufacturers, service providers and the healthcare sector. The software can be extended by additional industry packages and modules.
The WMS configurator attracted a great deal of interest again this year: Visitors to the booth were able to configure their own personalized version of the standard Warehouse Management System.

The presentation on key performance indicators as the secret of efficient logistics, held by CIM logistics consultant Robert Slusarz, was received with great enthusiasm and drew a great run of visitors to CIM’s booth. He emphasized the importance of logistics KPI systems and their impact on warehouse and process controls. Mr. Slusarz also presented CIM’s new Business Intelligence Tool: the new tool collates the key performance indicators for the warehouse and displays a graph of the results in the form of a modern cockpit. Users can analyse, steer and optimise the complex processes in the warehouse. Each user can configure customised view containing the most important key indicators. The data is read out and displayed in a diagram which can show the information on a daily, hourly, weekly, monthly or annual basis.
