Solistica Standardizes Warehouse Operations with JDA

Leading Latin American logistics provider selects JDA Warehouse Management to capitalize on growth

JDA Software Group, Inc. today announced that leading Mexican logistics services provider Solistica, S.A. de C.V. has selected JDA® Warehouse Management, JDA® Warehouse Labor Management, and JDA® Transportation Modeler solutions to standardize its warehouse operations as it continues to growas a third-party logistics provider (3PL). Solistica will leverage JDA Cloud and JDA Professional Services for this deployment. JDA's strategic partner, Goldco, provides support throughout the FEMSA Group.

Solistica, through its companies Expresso Jundiaí, Atlas Transporte e Logistica, Zimag, Open Market and Tek Mechanics, is the largest integrated logistics solutions provider in Latin America with operations in Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil, Peru and the United States. With more than 21,000 employees, Solistica owns more than 60 operating centers; 50 warehouses; 70 cross-docks; 5,700 vehicles and 4,300 trailers in their fleet, as well as almost 300 workshops in Latin America. Solistica was seeking to standardize its entire warehouse operations across Latin America including labor management. The company selected JDA Warehouse Management and JDA Warehouse Labor Management to manage its inventories with precision and traceability, optimize the use of physical space while increasing labor productivity and operational throughput, and provide complete operational visibility. JDA Warehouse Labor Management will help Solistica improve labor performance accountability resulting in a more performance-focused culture that delivers a significant competitive advantage. The first phase of the implementation project includes Mexico and Colombia.
