The participants meeting 2018 is coming closer

This year's participants meeting of »warehouse logistics« will take place true to the motto »Driving innovation with warehouse logistics«. On October 25th 2018, the participants of one of the leading portals for Warehouse Management Systems warehouse-logistics.com will meet for the 18th time in a row at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML in Dortmund.
The participants of the meeting will be offered a varied and interesting program. Not only will the presentation of the current Market Report 2018 provide the latest information on the market and a corresponding overview, this day will also allow research to meet practice and innovative developments in the field of logistics to be directly and closely examined and experienced.
The exchange of technical information will be promoted by World Café discussions and numerous other opportunities for expanding the network and cooperation. This year, topics such as »The ideal implementation sequence of ERP and WMS«, »Optimization of warehouse operations through machine learning in WMS« and »Digitization of intralogistics - Gap between industry and research« will be discussed.
In addition, those present will gain insights into current research topics at Fraunhofer IML as part of the Innovation Market Place. The research topics presented in the lectures, such as motion capturing, smart glasses and interoperability of warehouse IT, can then be experienced in a hands-on manner during a tour of the »Innovation laboratory hybrid services«.
The event will take place on Thursday, October 25th, 2018 from 8:30 to 17:00 at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML in Dortmund. The participation is free for all members of the »WMS Database«. Registration is possible via letter, fax or e-mail to marketing@warehouse-logistics.com. Furthermore, there is an option to download a registration form via CMS.
