Koenig & Bauer Kammann optimizes its warehousing and production supply with PSIwms

The printing press manufacturer wanted to optimize its internal production logistics at the new location in Löhne as well as support the warehouse management by using a modern warehouse management system. Read here how the company succeeded in coordinated process control thanks to PSI software.

With the move to the new plant location in Löhne, the internal production logistics were to be optimized as well as the warehouse management and the coordinated process control supported by the use of a modern warehouse management system.

»The goal and at the same time an important decision criterion for the system selection was a warehouse management system that already covered our requirements and options for future developments of our intralogistics in the system standard«, explains Gerhard Drews, IT Manager at Koenig & Bauer Kammann.

»At the same time, we wanted to reduce interfaces and ensure the smooth, reliable connection of our automation systems.« Therefore, the choice fell on the warehouse management system PSIwms from PSI Logistics.

The close networking of the warehouse management system PSIwms and the ERP system PSIpenta, which has been established in the company since 2007, enables additional optimization potential in the intralogistics processes in addition to efficiency increases.
