Against the background of many years of cooperative collaboration, PSI Logistics and FIEGE are developing innovative functions for market-driven, industry-specific configurations, functionalities and applications of the warehouse management system PSIwms. In order to align with changing market requirements, PSI Logistics optimizes the systems through joint development projects with customers, among other things. The advantages: Users are provided with technological innovations in terms of market-driven functionalities and newly developed application options as quickly as possible, which support them in integrating current technology developments into their individual processes.

One of the customers with whom PSI Logistics pursues this model of market-driven product development is the FIEGE Group, based in Greven, Westphalia. The warehouse management system PSIwms is used at more than ten technical locations to control coordinated processes of efficient intralogistics at the contract logistics company.

»The warehouse requirements and logistical processes are specific in each case,« explains Michael Schwerdtfeger, Product Owner FPSI at FIEGE. »With PSI Logistics, we have a logistics expert at our side to whom we can contribute our expertise. On this basis, PSI Logistics then develops ideas for functionalities and applications tailored to requirements. In agile collaboration, this results in an optimal practical design.«
