20 years system validation of PSIwms

This year, our PSIwms was again successfully validated. We have been receiving the coveted certificate for our warehouse management system since 2003, thus setting an example for quality, objectivity and expert status on the market. The rigorous validation process ensures that the information provided in the »Logistics IT Database« is accurate and reliable.

Before a provider's information on its logistics IT system is included in the »Logistics IT Database«, it is validated by the »team warehouse logistics«. The logistics IT system questionnaire covers between 1,000 and 3,700 aspects to ensure quality and up-to-dateness.

The process is as follows: For the initial validation for a new system, the process takes about two days, with annual follow-up validations carried out afterwards. Validation is carried out by presenting the functionality on test or customer installations, with reference projects, documentation and expert discussions being used as well.

The validation results, including deviations, are communicated to the supplier. Afterwards, the released data is entered into the logistics IT database. The validation signet, which we receive after successful completion, is a seal of quality in the industry and confirms the data and functionalities recorded in the »Logistics IT Database«.
