Weiss Chemie + Technik relies on future-proof warehouse management system

Weiss Chemie + Technik GmbH & Co. KG has optimized its intralogistics and production supply at the Haiger site with a modern warehouse management system. The internationally active company, which produces adhesives as well as sandwich and facade elements, was looking for a future-proof solution that could keep pace with its growth. The choice fell on PSIwms.

Since its implementation 16 years ago, the WMS has proven its flexibility and efficiency in intralogistics processes many times over. Recent upgrades in 2022, including enhanced management tools, activity tracking, and improved PSI click design, underscore the system's future viability.

The WMS manages the storage of over 3,500 items in different storage areas, including an automated mobile racking warehouse with 750 pallet spaces. Not only is operational stock recorded, but load carriers, transport units and hazardous materials are also managed.

Seamless synchronization with the ERP system ensures maximum transparency, while the WMS coordinates production supply. From goods receipt to goods issue picking, PSIwms increases efficiency at Weiss Chemie. Since the initial implementation, double-digit throughput increases have been achieved and the investment has quickly paid for itself.
