Consistently conflict-free IT networking at Mahr

The long-established company Mahr was able to revolutionize its warehouse and production management at the Göttingen site with the introduction of PSIwms. Thanks to the seamless, conflict-free networking of WMS and ERP, the company is setting new standards in warehouse IT and optimizing its processes.

The manufacturer of production measurement technology, founded in Esslingen in 1861, uses a warehouse management system to handle article and inventory management of raw materials and finished products as well as process control for order and on-time picking and route planning, both for the supply of internal production and for dispatch processing. PSIwms forms the information backbone for controlling these complex processes in the logistics center.

»It is an essential basis for achieving our ambitious sales targets,« says Mahr logistics manager Christian Hofmeister. An additional special feature is that Mahr already relies on a software system from the PSI Group at the overlaying IT level with the ERP system PSIpenta. »These positive previous experiences as well as the optimal integration of ERP and WMS contributed to the decision to award the contract,« says Hofmeister.

Through the targeted optimization of throughput times and material flows, Mahr has achieved increased efficiency in the warehouse. The seamless integration of WMS and ERP ensures improved overall performance and enables both systems to interact smoothly. As a result, Mahr not only achieves its sales targets, but also makes its order production processes faster and more reliable.
