The company »MODULA S.p.A.« becomes a new participant in the »Logistics IT Database« with the »MODULA WMS« system. The »warehouse logistics team« warmly welcomes »MODULA« and is looking forward to the future cooperation.

»MODULA« is headquartered in Casalgrande (RE), Italy and has 11 other sales offices worldwide, for example in Germany, France and the UK. MODULA was founded with the development of the first prototype in 1987 as part of System Logistics. It became an independent company in 2016. The company employs over 1,000 people, including production workers, specialists, technicians, installers and software developers. »MODULA's« mission is to integrate automated warehouse systems into companies of all sizes and industries in order to optimize intralogistics.

The Warehouse Management System »MODULA WMS« is a comprehensive warehouse management software specifically developed by »MODULA« to manage all operations in vertical warehouses. The system provides processing of complex information on access, picking movements, location management and inventory.

One of the outstanding features is traceability, which makes it possible to accurately track every operation in the warehouse. This includes the locations of items, their movements and the management of important data such as batch and serial numbers, production data, expiry dates and product maturity. Another important element is access control. The system can precisely track which employee has had access to certain storage areas and enables effective management of drawer division into compartments. In addition, »MODULA WMS« monitors warehouse occupancy and saturation levels, providing companies with valuable insights into their supply chain.
