FIS confirmed as an expert in system validation for WMS and TMS by the Fraunhofer Institute (IML)

SAP Gold Partner FIS has once again received validation for SAP Extended Warehouse Management and for the first time for SAP Transportation Management FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting GmbH has once again passed the quality assessment for SAP Extended Warehouse Management.

This is confirmed by this year's validation by the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML) and its listing on Warehouse Logistics, the leading online portal for warehouse management and transport management systems. For the first time in 2025, the system validation for SAP Transportation Management also took place. Here, too, the assessment was based on a comprehensive questionnaire with more than 2,000 individual aspects. FIS's particular expertise lies not only in the implementation of SAP EWM and SAP TM, but also in the holistic consideration of ERP processes.

System validation by Fraunhofer IML is considered an independent quality certificate in the logistics industry – especially in the context of SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) and SAP TM (Transportation Management). The validations confirm that FIS not only reliably fulfills the promised functionalities in practice but also meets the company’s high-quality standards. The annual review ensures that users can trust the system’s up-to-dateness and performance.

FIS has held the validation for SAP EWM since 2016, underscoring its expertise in implementing EWM projects. FIS’s IT specialists are also continuously developing industry-independent extensions to the SAP software to optimize functionality and user experience. The latest developments in this area include cloud solutions for end-to-end logistics processes.
